Garden Time
For various reasons, I am beginning my gardening for 2008 quite late and it is, in a word(s)-a beautiful mess out there.
Here you can see long stalky branches, which should have been cut back drastically about a month ago.
And the poor butterfly bush is struggling to not be ousted by the very overgrown hibiscus.
The double peach is seen confronting the jasmine.
In my spare time, I shall relish and enjoy creating happiness and harmony amongst these things that bring me so much peace and joy. I imagine I'll have some gorgeous pictures to share around Memorial Day-Happy gardening to all! View a few of my garden pictures from 2007.

You have such beautiful flowers in your garden. Things are just springing into action here, but it's been slow this year. One minute it's mild and rainy, the next frosty and clear.
We are working with a blank canvas here in our newish home. Things will take time to establish, but we will be able to enjoy them in years to come.
Happy gardening!
