An evening in January and fond memories

a blossom on our magnolia tree last summer

For many people, the magnolia flower conjures up memories of days gone by.  Our magnolia tree found its new home several years ago, in our front yard on Father's Day.  We refer to it as our "father tree", looking back I am pleased that we chose a memorable time to add this beautiful flowering, majestic tree to our landscape.

Organic Spa Magazine & Find Peace and Quiet

Aromatherapy_4

Organic Spa Magazine is always a refreshing and relaxing read for me, the layout is gorgeous, the articles are quite interesting and it flows beautifully.   In their most recent issue they mentioned a website called findpeaceandquiet.com.  It is a wonderful site with many little niches and is where I first heard of the YeloNap-sounds like heaven!

From their website:  Findpeaceandquiet.com was launched in the fall of 2007 by Allan Ishac, as an Internet oasis — a kind of "serenity central," where readers can take a break from life's demands and find refuge.

I really like this site, there is the Serenity Store, Peace & Quiet Locater and a Quiet Destinations section.  It embraces and extends a sublime serving of calm, all in one place.  breathe...relax... click

Healing Waters

The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs, Colorado is one of my future relaxation destinations.  I can almost feel the tension melt away as I take in the picture above, and I imagine what it must feel like to submerge myself into the water after an active day of biking and hiking.

From their website:  As you step into these mineral rich waters, the various minerals and elements in the water are absorbed through the pores in your skin. The healing process is enhanced when the pores are opened by increased water intake prior to entering the mineral pools.

Spa packages at The Healing Waters Spa & Salon sound equally enticing and with names like Peaceful Escape, Simple Serenity, Spa Surrender and Perfectly Polished, I for one would take great pleasure and indulge in a different pampering experience each day.

Create Your Own Healing Waters

While it is not likely that one could replicate the spas and pools of water at The Springs Resort in Colorado, it is possible and easy to create your own healing waters at home, with products that are specifically formulated to turn any ordinary bathtub into an extraordinary experience.
