Halloween-ish Blog Entries

Supernath

Thought I'd bring these postings back up, since many will be carving pumpkins tonight.  Have fun, I'd enjoy seeing any pictures too!

Halloween Eve Update

It is 8:30 p.m., and as I am in the kitchen using cheesecloth to strain an herbal blend, I see on the back of the package images of ghosts made with cheesecloth.  I did a quick search and of course the one tutorial I found that included pictures was at the Martha Stewart website, I love that site-have a look

Ladies Blend Included In A Special Report for Organic Business News

Back in September Christine Blank, Senior Editor for the Organic Business News and I had a telephone interview regarding organic personal care products.  If you have ever done one of those you know how it ends-you say to yourself-"gosh, I hope I sounded okay!" and "I hope they got it (what I said) right!".  I did and she did-thank you!

I wish I could show you the report, but it is a paid special report, not available for online viewing, so in all fairness to OBN, if you want to see it, the report is available for purchase here.  If, in the future it becomes available to read at no cost, I'll be sure to post it here.  The article did include a picture of our very popular Pedi Tea which is made completely with USDA Certified Organic Ingredients-good choice!

Ladies Blend Featured Indie Candy

2007member

A few weeks ago, Donna Maria Coles Johnson of the Indie Beauty Network invited me to be interviewed for a feature in the Indie Experience Newsletter, Indie Candy.  For me, it was an interesting trip down memory lane, if you like, you can read the interview here

IBN offers its members tons of benefits to help launch, grow and maintain your business.   I am very pleased with all of the Member Benefits and was quite happy that the Products Liability Insurance covers candles, which is a product that I really wanted to include in my line.

There is also the Indie Business Blog which is filled with all kinds of information, tips and stories, don't miss it, it is updated frequently.

Thank you dM!

Compose Your Own Labels For Free

A while back, Online Labels invited me to try a beta version of maestro Label Designer.  It is available on their site now, I believe for all to try.  Check it out, it is free and add your input, they listen.  I received a coupon for $5.00 off on my next order for completing a very short survey after trying it out.  It fit all of my needs except for one, I exclusively use the Optima font for all of my labels.  I checked just a bit ago and they now list that font as an option.  Even if you don't need this for business, I know a lot of you like to make labels for your crafts and gifts.  I'm not sure if there will be a fee associated with it in the future or not, but for now, there is no download needed and it is very user friendly!

Ladies Blend Thymes Banner

I made a banner for the Ladies Blend Thymes blog, feel free to copy and use it on your blog or website with a link back to http://ladiesblendthymes.typepad.com/

Lbtbanner

Maggie from wholesomebabyfood.com and Wholesometoddlerfood.com requested one, so I figured, I may as well put it up here on the blog for all to use.  In addition to it being included in this post, it will also be available in the sidebar too.

If you are a mom or dad to little ones or know someone who is, please pass along the links to Maggie's sites, they are awesome!  We will be having one of her banners in our sidebar soon.  Read our previous post Homemade Baby Food Recipes.
