It happened to me-last night. Has it happened to you-yet? So here I am looking for a space to store something, I open up one of my storage closets-5 minutes later I am in full blown fall re-organizing mode, which leads to the beginning of big time fall cleaning.
This will be a good time to try some more of my homemade cleaning recipes, which I will be publishing here on the blog very soon. And not just mine, a couple friends have contributed some good easy tips and fresh ideas too. If you would like to add your favorite tip or home care recipe, please send me an email, we'll add it to the list along with your website/blog link.
This time of year, it is not only the inside that needs to be dealt with, but the outside too. Lots of raking and preparation for the upcoming months is plentiful. After you have hauled, picked, pulled, washed and wiped everything in site, take sometime to treat your tootsies to a fresh foot soak.
Soothing Fall Foot Soak
Fill a basin with warm water, add fruits, flowers and salt, soak for as long as you like, rinse and pat your feet dry.
Next on the list-my clothes closet where there is a ton of good things waiting to be donated. Just a thought...before you drop off your donations of clothes, it is a nice idea to have them laundered (if needed) and either folded neatly or hung on hangers. Then there is no extra work entailed for the people that accept them, which are most likely kind folks volunteering their time to help others.
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. We are encouraged (if you are a blogger, then you are too) to blog about this issue in relation to the topics that we would normally cover. For more info, click on over to Blog Action Day.
So on this day, I would invite you to spend some time with me.
Normally I enjoy keeping a natural balance of sorts within this blog. I am a business woman who makes and sells natural and organic bath & beauty products. Although my style is not "in your face" selling (you know-when you go into a store and the sales people chase you down!), I do enjoy sharing and promoting my business and products. I am truly VERY proud of them and have an intense passion for my company and helping others live and enjoy a more natural life.
On October 15, I will just chat on for as long as I feel like it about the Ladies Blend product line, my home life, little things that I do, that in the grand scheme of it all really do make a difference and things that I don't do that I could or should do-I am far from perfect people! And if you have not already heard it before...I will share what I think makes Ladies Blend products a very special find, for our body, soul & mind. Maybe I'll talk about things that I do for my kitty babies that I am totally crazy about-not too crazy I hope, although one year, I did make Halloween Capes for them! I'll tell you what luscious natural organic ingredients (plant based) that we would NEVER use in our products. And lets not forget about all this so called recyclable packaging. Is it recyclable and really, what does that mean? Does it mean that you can wash and reuse or is it actually appropriate for a recycle bin? And if it is, is that type of recycling available in your area? Or maybe it was made from recyclable materials-whew!
So, that is the 2 minute plan, but you never really know what will happen, until the moment my fingers touch the keys on the keyboard...see you then.

Busy, busy busy is all I can say people. Not much time to play on the blog, but in the meantime, may I tempt you with some post's from the past?
Like any food recipe, my love for making homemade kitchen beauty recipes always keeps me thinking about different things:
Even though it is a balmy 80 degree day here in Melbourne, cold weather is beginning to peek through in some areas, a good time to make some tweaks and twists...
It was a dark, cold winter morning back in February when my skin was in need of some kitchen beauty nourishment. Being that it was frightfully cold outside, the last thing I was about to do was to slather some cold concoction all over my skin. That is when I came up with this comforting Warm Oatmeal & Peaches Facial Masque recipe.
On another morning back in March, while I was cleaning out my refrigerator, I came up with a terrific save for some over-ripe fruit in waste not-want not. Now we can all have fruit at our fingertips for our fruity beauty recipes.
It seems my mind works best in the morning, but as the day wears on, it is a natural occurrence to let go, relax and unwind. Make up a big batch of our very popular Stress-Less Herbal Tea Recipe and store it in a beautiful glass jar on your kitchen counter top. Now you can have the perfect cup of tea that is most enjoyed near days end.
I hope you enjoyed a few of the archives, this blog is packed full of all kinds of things, click around, enjoy and I'll be back soon with an update on the Luffa Sponge plants. See the last post? Four days later and the pot is FULL of sprouts, time to transplant the babies soon. And you don't want to miss my new recipe for Winter Bliss Tea, made from bits of chunky spices and tasty vanilla bean pieces. If you are planning to make our Organic Vanilla Extract recipe, pick up a few more beans so you will have some extras on hand for this delicious tea. I think we need to make some organic vanilla sugar too! ttfn
