Baby Noah

Noah is now eight weeks old and stealing hearts everywhere.  His blue eyes turned green at seven weeks old, which we were expecting to happen.  Everyone loved those baby blues, but we love them no matter the color, he is gorgeous!

Picking a Primo Pumpkin

This year, when picking out your pumpkin, try to select one that could have at least a couple of uses.  If you are carving it, of course you can use the flesh for baking or a luscious pumpkin facial treatment and roast the seeds. 

If you decide not to carve your pumpkin, they usually last for quite some time and well after Halloween can easily be made into a vase type holder for a fresh flower bouquet.

It is so easy and takes less than five minutes:

• Find a cup that is about the height of your pumpkin, a little shorter works best.
• Cut a hole around the stem of the pumpkin, using the diameter of the cup to gage how big the hole will be.
• After cutting out the top, scoop out the seeds and stringy flesh, use a spoon.
• Put your cup inside the pumpkin, fill with water.
• Arrange your flowers, you're done.  Pretty!
